The Rossini Theatre
The local chronicles attest that during the first half of the 17th century in Lugo many performances took place which suggests established lengthy season . These performances were staged with temporary facilities in a part of the fairgrounds and in the 16th century loggia. 2001 heralded the foundation of the Lugo Opera Festival because the Theatre wants to transform the traditional opera season in a festival with the following aims:
- To be held in the Spring
- To promote new relations with national institutions
